Early safety test for brain disorder drug halted
NCT ID NCT06965881
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to understand how two common medications (carbamazepine and itraconazole) affect the body's processing of an experimental drug called radiprodil. It involved 30 healthy adults to check for safety issues and measure drug levels in the blood. The study was terminated and did not test the drug's effectiveness in treating conditions like Tuberous Sclerosis.
