Scientists test if new heartburn pill changes how your body uses antibiotics
NCT ID NCT07308041
Summary
This study checked if taking a new experimental drug for acid reflux (linaprazan glurate) changes how the body absorbs and processes a common antibiotic called amoxicillin. It involved 12 healthy adults who took both drugs over several days while researchers measured drug levels in their blood. The goal was to understand potential drug interactions early in development, not to treat any disease.
