Scientists test new pill to see how it travels through the body

NCT ID NCT07046975

Summary

This study tested how the body absorbs and processes a new extended-release pill that combines two existing heart medications (torsemide and spironolactone). Researchers enrolled 24 healthy adult volunteers to measure drug levels in their blood and urine over time. The goal was to understand how this new combination pill compares to taking the two medications separately.
