Summary

This study is testing whether dronabinol, a medication derived from cannabis, can help reduce chronic pain and inflammation in adults with sickle cell disease. Researchers will compare dronabinol to a placebo (inactive pill) in 60 participants to see if it improves pain levels and quality of life. The trial will also check if the treatment is safe and well-tolerated for people with this condition.
