Summary
This study is testing whether special computer-based training can help new drivers spot road hazards and pay better attention, with the goal of preventing crashes. It involves 8,000 people enrolled in driver's education courses in Washington state. Researchers will compare the new training programs to standard driving lessons to see which group has fewer crashes and risky driving events over a year.
