Summary

This study tested a new braking system called Dreeft® for manual wheelchairs. It aimed to see if users were more satisfied and could perform daily tasks better. 24 adults with motor disabilities who use a manual wheelchair took part. The brake works by pedaling backward, so users don't have to use their hands to slow down.
