New shot aims to tame dangerous blood fats
NCT ID NCT06555640
Summary
This study tested a new injectable drug called DR10624 to see if it could safely lower very high levels of triglycerides, a type of fat in the blood. It involved 79 adults with severe hypertriglyceridemia, who received either the drug or a placebo (dummy shot) for 12 weeks. The main goal was to see how much the drug reduced triglyceride levels and to check for side effects.
