Summary
This study compares two antibiotics—doxycycline and azithromycin—to see which works better for children with pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae. About 208 children aged 3 to 17 will take the medicine for 7 to 14 days. Researchers will track how quickly fever goes away and check for side effects, including tooth color changes.
