NCT ID NCT07397403
Summary
This study is testing whether taking the antibiotic doxycycline after sex can prevent common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) like gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis. It involves 400 men who have sex with men in Bangkok, Thailand, who are at higher risk for these infections. Participants will take the medication after potential exposure and be monitored for 12 weeks to see if it reduces their chance of getting an STI.
