Summary

This study tests whether doxycycline, a widely used antibiotic, can stop or slow the enlargement of heart arteries in children with Kawasaki disease. About 50 children who already have some artery widening will receive the drug for three weeks. The goal is to see if doxycycline can block a harmful substance linked to artery damage and prevent serious heart problems.
