Can doulas help shield pregnant people from hidden chemicals?

NCT ID NCT06032143

Summary

This study is testing whether training doulas about certain chemicals found in everyday products like lotions and shampoos can help them educate pregnant people. The goal is to see if this education leads pregnant people to use fewer products containing these chemicals and to have lower levels of them in their bodies. The study focuses on Black pregnant people and the doulas who support them, aiming to close a gap in health information.
