First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a new surgery for men with a severely narrowed urethra (the tube that carries urine out of the body). The procedure uses a piece of tissue from the cheek to widen the urethra from both sides. The goal is to improve urine flow and avoid more complex surgeries. Thirty men with long, tight strictures will be treated and followed for short-term success.
