First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a patient's gender affects how they talk with their anesthesiologist about risks before surgery. Researchers will interview 100 patients to see if men and women understand and ask about anesthesia risks differently. The goal is to improve informed consent conversations so they better meet each patient's needs.
