Can a daily walk ease the pain of braces?
NCT ID NCT05615688
Summary
This study aimed to see if people who are more physically active feel less pain from orthodontic spacers, the small rubber bands placed between teeth before braces. Researchers enrolled 94 healthy volunteers aged 15-49, had them wear a step counter, and tracked their pain levels for a week after spacer placement. The goal was to learn if daily activity could be a simple way to predict or reduce this common dental discomfort.
