Can a narrow neck spine weaken your grip? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07511153
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how the degree of narrowing in the neck spine (cervical spinal stenosis) affects hand strength and fine motor skills in adults aged 18-75 who have had neck pain for at least 3 months. Researchers will measure grip and pinch strength using special devices and test hand function with a pegboard task. The goal is to better understand the link between spine narrowing and hand problems, which could help personalize rehabilitation.
