First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at people with rare genetic conditions that affect the body's ability to repair DNA, such as xeroderma pigmentosum and Cockayne syndrome. Researchers will examine participants and collect samples like skin and blood to learn how DNA repair helps prevent cancer. The goal is to better understand these diseases, not to test a new treatment. About 700 people of all ages, including healthy volunteers, can join.
