First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at whether applying a chemical called dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to older, worn-down teeth helps dental fillings bond more strongly and leak less. Researchers will test this on 30 people aged 50 to 75 who have non-cavity tooth lesions. The goal is to improve the success of dental restorations in aging teeth.
