NCT ID NCT07238634

First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compares two physical therapy methods for children with spastic cerebral palsy, a condition that affects movement. The Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) focuses on repetitive, task-based exercises to build new brain pathways, while the Bobath approach uses hands-on techniques to improve posture and movement. Researchers will enroll 58 children to see which therapy leads to better motor skills, balance, and trunk control. The goal is to find more effective ways to help these children gain independence.
