Summary

This study looks at whether placing a filling slightly below the gum line (instead of doing gum surgery) is safe for your gums and tooth nerve. Researchers will test different depths in 81 adults with cavities that go below the gum. The goal is to see if this simpler approach keeps gums healthy and fillings intact.
