Summary

This study tests whether the drug DMB-I (latrepirdine) can improve thinking and memory in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's dementia. About 450 adults aged 60-90 will take either DMB-I, a placebo, or an active comparator for 26 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in cognitive function and track any side effects to see if the drug is safe and effective.
