This study tests whether the drug DMB-I (latrepirdine) can improve thinking and memory in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's dementia. About 450 adults aged 60-90 will take either DMB-I, a placebo, or an active comparator for 26 weeks. Researchers will compare changes in cognitive test scores and monitor for side effects.
