Summary
This study aims to collect health and genetic information from 500 Chinese adults with myotonic dystrophy type 1 (DM1), a rare inherited muscle disorder. Researchers will measure walking speed and daytime sleepiness to see how the disease affects daily life. The goal is to better understand DM1 in people of Chinese Han ethnicity, since most existing data comes from other populations.
