New targeted radiation therapy shows promise for Tough-to-Treat lung cancers

Summary

This study tests a new drug that delivers radiation directly to cancer cells with a protein called DLL3, found on small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors. About 138 adults whose cancer has returned after standard treatments will receive the drug to see if it is safe and shrinks tumors. The goal is to find the best dose and measure how well it controls the disease.
