First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a different spot on the wrist (distal radial artery) for a heart procedure can lower the chance of blocking the main wrist artery compared to the usual spot. About 708 adults needing complex heart treatment will be randomly assigned to one of two access methods. The goal is to see which approach is safer and works better.
