First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of accessing the wrist artery for complex heart procedures like opening blocked arteries. About 708 adults needing a larger catheter will be randomly assigned to either a distal or conventional wrist approach. The goal is to see which method better prevents the wrist artery from closing after the procedure.
