Summary

This study is testing a program called Disaster PrepWise, which helps family caregivers of people with dementia prepare for emergencies like pandemics or severe weather. A trained volunteer works one-on-one with caregivers to create a personalized emergency plan and build a local support network. The goal is to reduce caregiver stress and increase their confidence and resilience when disasters strike.
