NCT ID NCT07532694

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a diode laser to standard deep-cleaning treatment can improve gum health in people who have had a kidney transplant and also have gum disease. Eighty participants will be split into two groups: one gets standard cleaning plus laser, the other gets standard cleaning alone. The researchers will measure gum pocket depth, bleeding, and other signs of gum health over time to see if the laser provides extra benefit.
