NCT ID NCT05134935

First seen Dec 26, 2025 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether special glasses (DIMS lenses) are as good as Ortho-K contact lenses at slowing the worsening of nearsightedness in children aged 6 to 12. Over 18 months, researchers measured eye growth in 90 kids randomly assigned to one of the two lens types. The goal was to see if the glasses work just as well as the contacts, offering a non-invasive option for managing myopia.
