Summary
This study tested a single dose of diltiazem, a calcium channel blocker, in one adult with Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome. The goal was to see if the drug could quickly shorten the QT interval, a measure of heart rhythm. The approach was to give the drug intravenously and monitor effects within minutes.
