Old heart drug gets new test to keep patients out of hospital

NCT ID NCT07321509

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a low dose of an older heart medication called digoxin helps people feel better and stay healthier after a recent hospitalization for heart failure. It will involve about 120 adults whose hearts don't pump as strongly. The main goal is to see if more people taking digoxin are alive and report a good quality of life six months later.
