Old heart drug gets new look: can digoxin boost recovery after heart failure?

Summary
This study tests whether adding a low dose of digoxin to standard heart failure treatment helps people feel better and stay well after a hospital stay for acute heart failure. About 120 adults with weak heart pumping function will take digoxin or continue usual care. The main goal is to see if more people are alive and report good quality of life six months later.
