Digital dental scans put to the test against old-school molds

This study tested whether digital intraoral scans are as accurate as traditional dental impressions for capturing full-arch teeth. Ten healthy adults received both conventional impressions and multiple digital scans. Researchers compared the scans to see how precise and true the digital methods are.
