Summary
This small study compared two ways of taking molds for a single front-tooth implant: a new digital scan and the traditional method using putty. Researchers wanted to see which method led to better-looking gums around the implant and which was more comfortable for patients. Fourteen participants were randomly assigned to have their final impression taken with either the digital scanner or the traditional putty.
