Digital vs. Semi-Digital: which method places braces more precisely?
NCT ID NCT07318857
Summary
This study aimed to find out which of two digital methods is more accurate for placing braces (brackets) on teeth. Thirty-two young patients getting braces were randomly assigned to have their brackets placed using either a semi-digital or a fully digital tray system. Researchers then measured how closely the final bracket positions matched the original digital treatment plan.
