Digital scans challenge Old-School denture technique
NCT ID NCT07108322
Summary
This study tested whether a new digital scanning method could work as well as a complex traditional technique for making dentures for people with a specific gum condition called a 'flabby ridge.' Twenty-six patients tried dentures made with both methods to see which provided better fit and comfort. The goal was to find a simpler, more comfortable way to create stable dentures.
