Can a digital course get more patients out of hospital beds and into their own homes?

NCT ID NCT07166653

Summary

This study is testing whether an online training course for hospital staff helps more Scandinavian hospitals offer 'hospital-at-home' care. Researchers will compare hospitals that receive the training to those that don't, measuring how many eligible patients get care at home, staff knowledge, and patient outcomes like readmissions. The goal is to see if education helps overcome barriers to providing acute medical care in patients' homes instead of in the hospital.
