Can a phone app save lives? new study combines tech and therapy to tackle suicide risk
NCT ID NCT07417826
Summary
This study aims to see if adding a digital therapy app and monitoring devices to standard group therapy is more effective at preventing suicide risk and improving eating disorder symptoms. It will involve 150 women aged 18-65 who have an eating disorder and have recently experienced suicidal thoughts or attempts. One group will receive standard therapy, while the other gets therapy plus the digital tools, to compare which approach works better for patient safety and recovery.
