First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study compares two digital treatments for people who worry a lot about how they look. One group gets text messages that help them stop hiding or checking their appearance, while the other group learns relaxation exercises. The goal is to see which approach better reduces appearance anxiety, body dysmorphic symptoms, and related social fears. 300 adults with high appearance concerns will participate entirely through their smartphones.
