Summary
This study tested a personalized digital splint for 48 adolescents with jaw joint problems (TMJ disc displacement). Participants received a custom-made splint based on 3D scans and MRIs, and were followed to see if pain, chewing, and quality of life improved. The goal was symptom relief, not a cure, and the splint was provided at no cost.
