First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding digital pulmonary rehabilitation (tele-rehab) to usual care helps people with chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD). Sixty participants aged 55-65 were split into two groups: one received tele-rehab plus usual care, the other usual care only. Researchers measured lung function, thinking skills, physical performance, and sleep quality using smartphone apps and Bluetooth spirometers over 10 weeks.
