First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app (SpadCare) helps patients with a PICC line—a tube used for long-term IV treatments at home—manage their own care. About 200 adults will use the app to track their line and report problems. The goal is to see if app users have fewer complications like infections or blockages, and feel more satisfied with their care.
