Smartphone app aims to stop stoma leak surprises
NCT ID NCT06554015
Summary
This study is testing a digital sensor system called Heylo™ for people with a stoma. The sensor attaches to the stoma bag and sends alerts to a smartphone app if a leak is starting, so users can change their bag before a major accident happens. Researchers will follow 100 adults who use the system for a year to see if it improves their quality of life by reducing the worry and mess of leaks.
