Game on for lazy eye: digital therapy aims to replace eye patches
NCT ID NCT07323953
Summary
This study is testing whether a special digital game therapy called AmblyoFix can work as well as traditional eye patching for treating lazy eye in children. Researchers will enroll 33 kids aged 7-12 to use the game therapy for 24 weeks and compare their vision improvement to children who previously used patches. The goal is to see if this more engaging digital option is safe, effective, and easier for kids to stick with than wearing an eye patch.
