Researchers test High-Tech scanners for better fitting dentures
NCT ID NCT07211022
Summary
This study aims to compare the accuracy of two digital scanning techniques used to create custom dental implants for people with no teeth. Researchers will test a special camera (photogrammetry) and a handheld scanner on 11 patients who already have implant-supported dentures. The goal is to see which method creates more precise digital models to help dentists make better-fitting replacements.
