Summary

This study tested a digital, community-led program in rural Appalachia and the Midwest to help people get tested and treated for HIV and hepatitis C, and reduce risks from opioid use. About 511 adults from high-risk counties took part, with half currently using illicit substances and half not. The program aimed to increase testing, treatment, and harm reduction like using Narcan and syringe services.
