New app aims to ease caregiver stress after ER discharge

Summary

This study tests a digital program (Monka) for family caregivers of older adults who have been discharged from the emergency department. The goal is to see if the app reduces caregiver burden and improves quality of life over 90 days. About 100 caregiver-patient pairs will participate, with follow-up surveys at 30 and 90 days.
