First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a digital educational booklet, delivered via WhatsApp with voice-overs, animations, and interactive simulations, can improve mothers' knowledge and skills in caring for a child with a colostomy. Around 120 mothers of children with colostomies are randomly assigned to receive either the digital program plus routine care or routine care alone. Their knowledge and practical care skills are measured before, right after, and 12 weeks later.
