First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a 6-week online program that uses digital board games to help nurses feel more empowered, satisfied, and innovative at work. Fifty nurses from a university hospital will be split into two groups: one plays the games and joins group discussions, the other gets a booklet later. Researchers will measure changes in empowerment, job satisfaction, and innovative behavior using surveys.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Digital board game-based psychological empowerment program
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a fun, low-cost way to improve nurses' well-being and job performance.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage study with only 50 participants, so results may not apply broadly. The program is behavioral, not a medical treatment, so effects may be modest.
