Summary

This study tested a digital treatment program called Quit Genius for Alcohol (QG-A) against standard medical care. The program combined a smartphone app providing therapy techniques with the medication naltrexone. Researchers aimed to see if this integrated approach helped adults with alcohol use disorder drink less and improve their mental health and daily functioning over a 6-month period.
