New app aims to boost allergy treatment adherence

NCT ID NCT07419230

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether a mobile app can help people with allergic rhinitis (hay fever) stay on their allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots or under-the-tongue drops) for the full 3 years. Many people stop early, reducing the treatment's effectiveness. The app provides reminders and education to improve adherence. About 880 participants will be randomly assigned to use the app or receive standard care.
