First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study looks at two different surgical methods to reduce pain after a finger amputation. Researchers will compare a nerve reconnection technique (microanastomosis) with a nerve removal technique (traction neurectomy) in 50 adults. Participants will report their pain levels and hand function over six months to see which approach leads to less pain and fewer complications.
